Term 3 Week 3 Monday 27th July
Our Prayer This Week
From the Principal
Dear parents, guardians and students,
The world continues to turn and our students continue to learn. This week we have focused on gratitude for the opportunities we have that other students in our state do not have. In the words of one of our dads, "I've always said we live in the best place in the world".
We are constantly monitoring the situation and we will keep you informed of any changes as they occur but for now please constantly reassure your children that they are safe and they are well. Maintaining positivity and removing anxiety is vital for our children at this time.
School Closure Day
On Friday the 31st of July we will conduct a school closure day to allow staff to continue to work on our Numeracy curriculum. This is a vital element for the wellbeing of the students in our school and we are working hard to complete this task.
There will be no school for students on this day.
Covid 19 Update
With conditions and restrictions changing constantly and a degree if misinformation in the media, I have attached a document that outlines all the current procedures at St Colman's at the moment. These may be subject to change any time in the near future.

Parent / Teacher Interviews
Our Parent/Teacher interviews via telephone are tomorrow, Tuesday the 28th of July and we have allowed 15 minutes for each call. We will initiate the calls. The teachers will make each child's learning ladder available today and this will help convey their current learning progress.
SAC Meeting
We have a SAC meeting scheduled for this Wednesday 29th of July. Due to an increase in virus threat in regional Victoria we will need to conduct this meeting virtually. We will contact the council members to discuss how this will be managed.
