Our Prayer This Week
From the Principal
Dear parents and members of our community,
The announcement of the return of all students to school this Friday has been met with great excitement and a huge sense of relief as it may mean a permanent end to remote learning for students at St Colman's. We still have this week with some of our Middle and Senior students learning from home and we thank them and their families for all the support they have given to the school in this difficult time.
Staff Change Over
Many families are aware of the wonderful news that Bridget Van Den Broek is expecting the arrival of her second child next year. Bridget will commence leave on Friday 12th of November. Mrs Vanessa Marshall will be replacing Bridget for the remainder of this year and we welcome her to St Colman's this week as we begin the important task of handing over the Junior class. Vanessa has taught at St Patrick's Camperdown, St Thomas' Terang and she has been with us as a CRT so the children are already familiar with her. We hope she experiences a warm welcome from our school community.
BOOK WEEK
With the return of all students this week we are excited to hold Book Week next week. We will share many of the nominated titles with the children across the week and we will explore the books available in our book fair. Our dress up day will be next Friday the 29th of October.
Mask Wearing
Congratulation to all the students and staff for the way they have adopted the mandate of mask wearing inside the school building. We are becoming accustomed to the inconvenience and enjoying the opportunity to learn outside at every opportunity. Parents, please continue to send a mask with your child each day to school until this requirement is lifted.

Bus Forms
Each year parents utilising the school bus system are required to update their travel details so a form will be sent home with your child today. Attached to this is instructions on how to enter any daily changes to your travel needs directly into our admin system via PAM. Please keep an eye out for these and attend to them as quickly as possible.
