Term 3 Week 4 Tuesday 3rd August
Our Prayer This Week
From the Principal
Dear parents and members of our community,
Once again our students have recommenced school in an excited and joyous way, greeting their friends with hugs and conversations about being back at school. Our school calendar continues to be a very fluid list of dates as events are cancelled or postponed. Please keep an eye on these to stay informed with what is happening .
School Closure Days Change
With continued covid restrictions our planned closure days the week after next have either been postponed or are under consideration. The day on Thursday the 19th has been postponed until later in the year so this will be a normal school day. The closure day on Monday 16th is still planned at this stage but we will let you know as soon as final confirmation has been made.
Parent/Teacher Interviews
Thank you to our parents for "pivoting" to parent/teacher interviews on the telephone rather than face to face. We appreciate the opportunity to share your child's successes and challenges and enjoyed the opportunity to make contact despite the lockdown and restrictions.
Fr Michael
Over the weekend Fr Michael McKinnon celebrated 40 years since he was ordained in Terang. We congratulate Fr Michael on this achievement and the years of service to God and the people of the many parishes in which he has worked, in Australia and overseas.
Hooptime Basketball
With an easing of restrictions we will now be able to participate in our Hooptime events this month. The dates have changed to the following:-
5/6 Rookies - Friday 13th of August
3/4 Rookies - Friday 3rd of September
Permission will be requested through PAM next week for the 5/6 students.

This week we welcome back Jenny Stapleton from sick leave on Friday. We are glad she has recovered well and look forward to having her back in the school.

Feathered Visitors
On Friday Kaison brought in the two emu chicks that he has adopted. They were very cute and caused great excitement in the Senior room and at school assembly.
