From the Principal

Dear parents and members of our community,

I hope each of our families enjoyed the long weekend and are ready for the run home to the end of term next week. We say farewell to the Killen family as they head off on an extended family holiday and we keep the Lehmann family in our thoughts and prayers as they travel around Australia. 

2022 Enrolments Open

We are inviting our current families and new families to enrol their students to commence school in 2022. Enrolment forms can be accessed on our school web page or from the school office. 

Trivia Night Postponed

In line with the current School Operations Guide for Regional Victoria we will need to postpone our Trivia Night to early next term in the hope that restrictions have eased further and we are permitted to hold the event. 

Online Raffle

We are in our final week of the St Colman's online raffle and we are asking families to continue the push to sell as many raffle tickets as possible. With the postponing of our Trivia Night, the draw will now be conducted at our school assembly at 3pm this Friday the 18th of June.

Tri Sports Rescheduled

After being postponed due to the statewide lockdown, our Tri-sports have been rescheduled to Wednesday the 23rd of June. The 5/6 children will compete in either football, netball or soccer in Terang on the day. We are delighted this opportunity is now available to the senior students. 

QR Code Check-in

At the front of the school we now have QR Codes for all visitors and staff to use to check-in on arrival to the school.You will need the "Services Victoria" app on your phone to complete this task.

Book Club Online

We have now completed the transition from paper based ordering to using the online facility to order books through scolastic. If you have any difficulty with this task, please contact the school. 

Sacramental Program

Last year with our extended lockdown, our sacramental program for initiation into the Catholic Church did not take place. Our cycle was up to Confirmation for the Grade 2 & 3 students wishing to participate. To catch up, we will offer this sacrament to the Grade 2, 3 & 4 students this year. There will be four after school sessions early next term and the ceremony will be held on Sunday 5th of September. 

School Advisory Council Meeting

Our second SAC meeting for the term is this Wednesday the 16th of June and now that restrictions have eased, we can meet face to face in the school at 7pm.

HCSN Meeting

We will conduct our next HCSN meeting this Thursday the 17th of June at St Colman's beginning at 1pm. Nicola Herry is our parent representative on this committee.
